Time go by and sometime we really don't really see it until it too late. I was thinking this morning about how all my kids are in church and they love the Lord Jesus. Jury Duty

Well today I had to go the Jury Duty. I have never been there before. I tried to get out of it but they said I had to show up. So I got there very early and gave them my badge number, the lady said go sit down until we call your name. They had called two groups before they called my group up. It was really different going into the court room and being the first group to sit in front of the Judge. The first thing was, she went over all the reasons why we were there and explained everything to us. She started asking questions, then it was my turn. I was really praying that God will give me the right thing to say. I told her that I do not believe in judging people because God will judge me in the same way. She asked me some other question regarding judging what is right and wrong. I told her I will not be able to judge. She said okay then we went on to other questions. I was very scared and really did not want to do this, a few minutes later she let us go to lunch. THANK YOU JESUS!!!! So it was time to go back into the court room and she start calling people in there to talk with them in private. Around 2:00 pm the bailiff came out and called my name, I was really not sure what was going on. He said you may go and check out. THANK YOU JESUS AGAIN!!!! I called my husband and he said that's great. So I had to wait another 2 hrs, then they let me go. I just want to say the the judge was very nice and understanding. Thank you Jesus for helping me through everything!!!!

David Letterman wrote this; it's the David we don't often see....

The other day I got this email from a friend. I just wanted to share this with family and friends

PLEASE READ

' As most of you know I am not a President Bush fan, nor have I ever been, but this is not about Bush, it is about us, as Americans, and it seems to hit the mark 'The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some Poll data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the source, right?
The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the resident. In essence 2/3 of the citizenry just ain't happy and want a change. So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, 'What are we so unhappy about?''

A.. Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week?

B.. Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter?

C.. Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job?

D.. Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?

E.. Maybe it is the ability to drive our cars and trucks from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move through each state?

F.. Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter?

G.. I guess having thousands of restaurants with varying cuisine from around the world is just not good enough either.

H. Or could it be that when we wreck our car, emergency workers show up and provide services to help all and even send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.

I.. Perhaps you are one of the 70 percent of Americans who own a home.

J.. You may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames, thus saving you, your family, and your belongings.

K.. Or if, while at home watching one of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or prowler intrudes, an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss

L.. This all in the backdrop of a neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where 90% of teenagers own cell phones and computers

M.. How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of everyone in the world?

Maybe that is what has 67% of you folks unhappy.

Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen. No wonder the world loves the U.S., yet has a great disdain for its citizens. They see us for what we are. The most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don't have, and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.

I know, I know. What about the president who took us into war and has no plan to get us out? The president who has a measly 31 percent approval rating? Is this the same president who guided the nation in the dark days after 9/11? The president that cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession? Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all the spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist attacks? The commander in chief of an all-volunteer army that is out there defending you and me?

Did you hear how bad the President is on the news or talk show? Did this news affect you so much, make you so unhappy you couldn't take a look around for yourself and see all the good things and be glad? Think about it......are you upset at the President because he actually caused you personal pain OR is it because the 'Media' told you he was failing to kiss your sorry ungrateful behind every day. Make no mistake about it.

The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases may have died for your freedom. There is currently no draft in this country. They didn't have to go. They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a ''general'' discharge, an 'other than honorable'' discharge or, worst case scenario, a ''dishonorable' ' discharge after a few days in the brig.

So why then the flat-out discontentment in the minds of 69 percent of Americans?

Say what you want but I blame it on the media. If it bleeds it leads and they specialize in bad news. Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner? The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations. They offer what sells, and when criticized, try to defend their actions by 'justifying' them in one way or another Just ask why they tried to allow a murderer like O.J. Simpson to write a book about how he didn't kill his wife, but if he did he would have done it this way......Insane!

Turn off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New York Times for the bottom of your bird cage. Then start being grateful for all we have as country. There is exponentially more good than bad. We are among the most blessed people on Earth and should thank God several times a day, or at least be thankful and appreciative.' 'With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, 'Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?'

Five thing we choose to do!!!!

Last night service was awesome. The pastor talk about five things we need to do to be saved. This is what I want my children and myself to work on!!!!! Not one of us is perfect. Only the Lord Jesus!!!

1) I choose to love him (Jesus Christ) with all my heart.
I told myself that I choose to love the Lord for who he is and for giving me the choose to service him..

2) I choose to Love God's Word.
The Word of God is the bread in my life. Without the word I'm nothing. For it is everything. It encourages me to keep walking in him. I choose to Love the God's Word

3) I choose to love the Church.
The Lord love me when I was not in Church. I choose to love saints that are in Church and the ones that left the Church. Loving them will bring them back to the Lord. I choose to love the Church.

4) I choose the love my Pastor.
There are many Pastors that are given up the truth and I have seen it myself. So, I want to say to my Pastor. Thank You for standing up for the TRUTH!!! I choose to love my Pastor.

5) I choose to love my brother's and sister's
I know it is sometimes hard to love or brother and sister in the Lord. It maybe something they said or did to us. I have been through a lot of these things. while serving the Lord and one thing I have learn is to love those that hurt you the most. That when forgiveness come in. I choose to love my brother's and sister's regardless of what the say and do.

The Pastor did not touch on this. I just wanted to put this out there.

I choose to Love my Family
I will love my family with all my heart. I have said this before I will say it to the day I die. The Lord Jesus has blessed me with a loving family. We all go through our trials and changes in life but GOD has always been there for us. I Choose to love my family with my whole heart!!!!!! I will never give up on my children salvation!!! When we get to heaven we will be with a Holy Family!!!!

I choose to make my personal relationship with the Lord Jesus better.

Santa Cruz

Samantha and Jonathan

Samantha and Leroy (Dad)

We finally had a little vacation!

I have worked very hard for 2 yrs without a vacation.
It was time!
I would never do it again. Well we all decided to go to Santa Cruz. We wanted the kids to see the ocean and the beach. We needed to spend time together as a family. Sorry LaChrisha! We took the long way to Santa Cruz. We drove through San Francisco, then through San Jose. It was very beautiful to see the bay area again. I really hate the bay bridge, but I made it through. I took a few pictures of the kids and Leroy being crazy together while we stop at the gas station. I really love my family dearly. God has bless me with awesome kids and super husband. Each one of them has a gift. I know God will use the gift he gave them for his glory. When I was spending time with my family and not thinking about work. It was a Big Blessing. We (everyone) go through life doing our jobs and taking care of our priorities in our households, that we forget what is dears to our hearts. I will love my kids every moment it get. I hope everyone does the same. Love ya!!! LaChrisha, Samantha and Jonathan. Richard, you are also dear to our hearts in some way or another. God Bless!!!

Prayer for our Troops

Please remember our troops at war!

The other day I received a email from a friend. It was a PRAYER REQUEST for our troops that are in battle or are going to battle. This is a time of war and roamers of war. Many Marines, Army, Air Force, and Navy men and women are in of need of prayer. I believe God will help these families. So please keep our troops in prayer.

Please pray this prayer or your own prayer:

"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us everyday. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen."

Apostolic Guitarist and Song Writer

Larry Carter is an apostolic guitarist and song writer. The first time I heard this song it was at The Rock Church in Elk Grove, CA. It really is a true song. There are many children in this world that are hungry for Jesus Christ and want to be loved by someone. I try my best to be the mother he (Lord Jesus) wants me to be. I'm glad to say that we need more apostolic song writers to sing loud and clear. So the world can fill the spirit of God.
Larry Carter thank you for singing this wonderful song.

"My 2 Lil Girls and My Lil Man"

These are my 2 lil girls and my lil man. They all hate it sometime when I call them that. But that is okay! No really, God has given me the most wonderful young ladies and a handsome young man. It started about 1 yr ago I was not feeling very well. I was sick in my body. When my family and I were going through this trouble time. There were family and friends praying for us. To those of you praying for us I want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!! I know my 2 lil girls and my lil man had being going through a lot at this time. I know there were worried about me being sick, but didn't want to show it. There are things that they would do or say that would lift me up. They were trying and being very strong young adults at this time they would pray and trusted in God. The reason I am writing this is because I know God use the children no matter what age they are. No matter the problem is he still uses the children. Children will say and do things that will make you think about what you are doing. I want my children to know that I LOVE THEM no matter what they go through. If I can't be there for them, who will? MY GOD WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU!!! You (my kids) are my biggest BLESSING EVER, even though they may not think that sometimes. To LaChrisha and Samantha, Be a strong young ladies for the Lord. Do not cut yourselves short of what God has in stored for you. I love you both very much!!! Jonathan, Be a strong young man and God will use you for his glory!!!!! I Love you very much!!!!!
